
Dingwei Tan is a photographer and designer based in Singapore.
Inspired by people and their unique cultures, Dingwei seeks to capture beauty in the familiar, charm in the mundane and through a lens, see the heart in photographs. Using publication design and visual vocabulary, his images are often presented as a complete project that strives to convey a compelling message.
From being acknowledged as the CDL Singapore Youth Photographer’s Award 2016 (Architecture) Merit winner at the National Museum of Singapore, to presenting his work at the Chiang Mai Photo Festival 2017 in Thailand, Dingwei’s works have been exhibited both locally and overseas.
He also contributed his works to +50—a commemorative photography publication that honours Singapore’s achievements in her 50 years of independence that seeks to celebrate the local photography scene.

Currently, he just graduated as a photography major studying Diploma in Communication Design, Temasek Polytechnic.
